OmaTuomioistuin e-service
The OmaTuomioistuin e-service is available in divorce cases in district courts (including divorce cases where ancillary claims are presented). Spouses can use the e-service on their own behalf. The functionalities for attorneys and acting on behalf of another person will be introduced later.
In the e-service, you can file for divorce and send messages to the court and receive messages from the court. Customers can also start using the e-service in a case that is already pending by logging in to the e-service and providing the e-service as their process address.
The e-service can be used to check the deadlines related to the reconsideration period even if the customer has not started using the e-service when the reconsideration period notification has been issued. The second-stage application can be submitted in the e-service once the reconsideration period has passed.
The use of the e-service requires that the customer can use strong identification (Suomi.fi identification). A divorce case is visible to the customer in the e-service if the personal identity code has been saved in the matter in the person's data. The e-service displays the basic information of the case (case title, court, case number, status of the case, time of arrival or initiation of proceedings, names of the parties, the person’s own process address, the person’s language in the case, possible invoicing address) and messages or documents that the customer has sent to the court through the e-service and that the district court has sent to the customer in the e-service.
Once the customer has entered the e-service as their process address, he or she will receive an e-mail notification that a new message has been received in the e-service.
The e-service is available to customers at omatuomioistuin.fiAvautuu uuteen välilehteenaddress and also via the start page of the e-services of the judicial administration (in the section General courts of the e-services of the judicial administrationAvautuu uuteen välilehteen).
