The brochure contains information on expert-assisted mediation of custody disputes at district courts. Court mediation in custody disputes is an alternative to a lengthy and cumbersome trial. Disputes between parents concerning child custody, living arrangements, right of access and maintenance may be discussed during mediation. The aim of mediation is to reach a durable agreement between the parents in the best interests of the child.
