Effects of coronavirus

The page contains information on the coronavirus and the functioning of the courts.

Activities during the corona pandemic

The functioning of the courts will continue as normally as possible, but close contacts will be avoided as far as possible. By reducing close contacts, we aim to reduce the risk of coronavirus exposure among the parties and staff.

The use of a face mask may also be recommended depending on the situation and region. Further information on the recommendations for masks can be obtained from the court or the chairperson of the hearing in question.

Services and customer service

All persons are encouraged to use electronic services or e-mail primarily.

The contact details of the courts can be found here .

Organisation of oral proceedings

Oral proceedings will continue as normally as possible, safety will be ensured and, for example, remote connections will be used. In each case, the withdrawal of oral proceedings shall be notified separately to all parties concerned.

How to act in court premises

In the premises of the courts, everyone must strive to maintain safety distances, ensure good hand and cough hygiene and otherwise act in accordance with the instructions issued by the health authorities. Use of face masks is recommended in public spaces.

More detailed information on the practices of each court during the corona pandemic can be found on their own websites.
